Dhaka National Medical College is the public medical institution of Bangladesh which was founded back in the year of 1925. It is counted among the oldest medical colleges of Bangladesh.

It is affiliated from the University of Dhaka and offers a broad range of medical courses to the aspirants. The institution attracts the wide numbers of the aspirants from the neighboring countries, who want to study the medical courses such as MBBS etc.

Dhaka National Medical College has a 650 bedded multidisciplinary hospital complex next to the academic building. The college offers a five-year course of study, approved by the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC), leading to a Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from Dhaka University. The medical degree of Dhaka National Medical College is approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI). Indian students who apply for DNMC are eligible to get a NOC from MCI and sit for the screening test to practice in India.

Southern Medical College, Chittagong, Bangladesh was established in 2005 and is affiliated with the University of Chittagong which is approved by Medical Council of India (MCI). 

The medium of instruction at Southern Medical College is English. Teaching will be imparted to the students through lectures, demonstrations, tutorials, practical classes. Periodic clinical meeting, seminars, symposium, and workshop on different subjects. The course duration is of 5 years.

The college is a Private college by status and is also approved by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Bangladesh. It is also approved by Nepal Medical Council. Southern Medical College is located in Chittagong which is the second largest city in Bangladesh with a population of more than 2.5 million people. This means a steady patient flow for students during their clinical practice. Southern Medical College is one of

the best colleges for MBBS in Bangladesh. 

Monno Medical College & Hospital is a non-profit private medical school in Bangladesh which was established in 2011. The main campus is located beside the Dhaka–Aricha Highway at Monno City, Gilondo under Ghior Upazila, in the district of Manikganj of Dhaka Division. It is affiliated with University of Dhaka. 

The Monno Medical College is built over a vast campus area of about 13 acres. The campus is so green and environmentally rich in nature. There is an inbuilt lake inside the college that adds extra beauty to the campus. City Medical College & Hospital is located at Etahata, Gazipur, Bangladesh, Established in the year 2012 and offering the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree under the University of Dhaka.

Curriculum approved by the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC) is adopted by the Faculty of Medicine, University of Dhaka. Bashundhara Ad-din Medical College is a private medical college located in Bashundhara Riverview Project at Hasnabad in Keraniganj, Bangladesh. It was jointly funded by Bashundhara Group and Akij Group, and is run by Ad-din Foundation. 

Popular Medical College is a private medical school in Bangladesh, established in 2010. It is located in Dhanmondi, Dhaka. It is affiliated with University of Dhaka as a constituent college. It offers a five-year course of study leading to a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree. Popular Medical College is recognized by the Medical Council of India and the World Health Organization. The Diabetic Association Medical College, Faridpur started its journey on the 15th November 2009 and opened its doors to the students in the academic year 2009-2010. This Medical College is Affiliated with University of Dhaka and Recognized by Bangladesh Medical & Dental Council (BM&DC) and Approved by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. he Diabetic Association Medical College, Faridpur is an institution of Faridpur Diabetic Association (FDA) and is run by a Governing Body. It mentionable that Faridpur Diabetic Association is the 2nd member of “International Diabetes Federation” from Bangladesh since 2009.

Brahmanbaria district is located in the eastern part of Bangladesh. Once the region was a part of Samatat state. Later it was included in Tripura district in 1790. The first and temporary capital of Isa Khan was at Sarail, 10km north of Brahmanbaria Town. Swadeshi movement  (1905), Peasant movement (1901) No-rent  movement war of liberation Movement (1971) etc are the remarkable chapters of the region. Brahmanbaria was promated as a municipality in 1869. After the liberation of Bangladesh, Brahmanbaria was declared as a district in 15 February 1984.
